Completion & Eligibility Certificates

To qualify for your Nebraska Real Estate license, each student must complete 60 hours of pre-license education in order to sit for the state exam. Taking both pre-license Principles & Practice online (30 hours) and Real Estate Finance online (30 hours) will fulfill this requirement.

In order for you to receive a Certificate of Completion of educational requirements you must successfully pass (75% or greater) the final exams for both modules. You can take all exams on the internet, and the exams are instantly graded.  A Certificate of Eligibility will be available for you online once both final exams have been successfully passed.    NOTE: You will not be able to make an appointment for testing until your Certificate of Eligibility and all other application materials are complete and filed with the Nebraska Real Estate Commission.

Testing

All exams are taken online. Each course contains practice / unit exams which must be passed with a score of 75% or better before accessing the final exam in that same course. Any required exercises in the course must also be completed before accessing the final exam. Each time you take an exam, you may not see all of the same questions, as exams typically draw from a large question pool for that topic.  The final exam for a course must be passed with a score of 75% or better.   If you do not receive a passing score, you can only attempt the same course final exam twice in one day, in order to give you more time for review. Once the final exam is passed, there are no restrictions on retaking the same final exam.  Exams may be taken as many times as you want to take them. However, we recommend thoroughly reviewing the material again any time an exam is not passed before attempting the same exam again.
