Call the Nebraska Real Estate Commission (NREC) at 402.471.2004 to request the Salesperson Pre-License Packet.
Review all materials in the Pre-Licensing Packet. The Candidate Handbook will help ensure you're prepared for the exam.
Register to take your required 66 hours of Pre-Licensing education at Larabee School of Real Estate.
Send in your application and fee for the exam to NREC. Be sure to include a passport photo to obtain your fingerprint card.
Initiate your fingerprinting for a background check. This process may take between 6–14 weeks.
Register for Larabee’s Exam Prep “Live” Crash Course. It’s not required, but highly recommended.
Have a professional passport photo taken to include with your paperwork.
Send copies of your Certificates of Completion to NREC and schedule your state exam.
Schedule and take your Nebraska Real Estate Salesperson Exam.
